Truly private

The PDF is read inside your browser. Nothing is uploaded, so nobody else sees your transactions.

Checked against balances

Every transaction is reconciled with the running balance. If something does not add up, we flag it.

Ready for your accountant

Excel, CSV, OFX and QIF from the same PDF.

What the CSV looks like

Comma-separated, with a dot as decimal separator and ISO dates (YYYY-MM-DD) so no program mixes up day and month. It is UTF-8 encoded with a BOM so Excel shows accented characters correctly.

FAQ

Which banks does it work with?

Any text-based PDF statement (the ones you download from online banking). It detects the date, description, amount and balance columns automatically. Scanned PDFs (photos or photocopies) are not supported yet.

Is my statement uploaded?

No. The conversion runs inside your browser and the page is locked down so it cannot send data anywhere else. You can check it: load the page, disconnect from the internet and it still works. We only count visits and conversions, anonymously and without cookies, never the content of your statements.

What if the PDF has a password?

We will ask for it when opening the file. The password never leaves your computer either.

What does “balances match” mean?

For every transaction, the previous balance plus the amount equals the balance printed by the bank. If it matches, no transaction is missing and no sign is flipped.
